Slip 'N Slide Facts

• The slide is 220' long, 10' wide, with a 50x40x5' deep pond at the bottom. It's about a 80' drop in elevation.
• It took over 500 man hours to build. There were 75 TONS of sand used to hold down the slide and for smoothness.  It also took 40,000 lbs. of boulders, 100,000 lbs. of pulverized dirt, 80,000 lbs. of crushed rock, 7000 lbs. of roofing membrane, 600 feet of PVC, and 20,000 gallons of water.
• The water is chlorinated and filtered.
• A custom built pump pumps water up the hill and down the slide. The pump is rated at 200gal/min, and will recycle the water once every 5 minutes. The pump had to be "re-engineered".  The stock pump would only get the water about 70' up the hill.
• The Top Speed going down the slide is 41mph by Wamz with 2 girls on his back.
